It was that time of year again - the hygiene convention! I haven't been for a couple of years, so I was excited to see my friends and bone up on the latest that the hygiene world has to offer. This year it was held at the "Show Barn" (no, that's not a typo) at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. I have to say, I was quite disappointed! There were hardly any vendors, and not alot of CE's offered. And only 3 of my classmates showed up! Come on guys, where's the love?! They had a great CE on oral cancer with lots of before and after pics of reconstructed facial surgeries, but that was pretty much it. UDHA, you have one year to redeem yourself! The popular girls let me take their picture!
It was also Payson Onion Days (don't laugh!), the annual city fest. Typically there is a parade and carnival, but mother nature had other plans. My Grandpa was in the parade with the war veterans, so I couldn't let a little rain stop us from supporting him.
10 minutes before the parade started (notice the sunshine...)My Grandpa! He's in the beige coat getting ready to throw candy at his favorite granddaughter. Isn't he cute! (Still no rain yet)
Mother nature does have a sense of humor. She waited until the veterens were past, but as soon as the beauty queens came out, so did the rain!
These girls know how to have a parade in the rain!
Needless to say, it was freezing and we were soaked! We left the parade and headed to the warm comfort of Chinese food. Hooray for Onion Days!

A boppy! I'll give you a hint- it's for nursing.
How cute. A mini bathrobe!
P.S. Thank you Natlalie for the bouncer! Terry put it together the next day and our nephew loved it!
