Eight Great Years

Eight years of wedded bliss! Okay, not all of it blissfull, but definitely amazing! Eight years ago today I married the most amazing man ever. Terry is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and in 4 weeks he'll give me another gift - our son! (Okay, I guess I'll be giving it to him, but you get it.) I can't believe all that has happened in 8 years. Our family has changed, we've lost loved ones, and we've moved several times, but all the hard work has paid off. Our life is finally beginning, and I can't wait for the next 8 years! Love you lots, Terry!

Family Baby Shower

My wonderful twin sis held a shower for me on Saturday. She overdid it of course, but it was greatly appreciated! Lots of family and friends were there to help celebrate the future arrival of baby Deacon (yes, it's official-that's his name!)


No, it's not your imagination--I got really huge in the last couple of weeks! That, or my hygiene buds are anorexic.

Best Week Ever!

Finally!! Things are falling into place!! I finally got my license, and on the same day we found out Terry passed both tests for his pharmacy board! He's an official drug dealer now! Check him out in action:

As you can tell Terry is ecstatic when it comes to having his picture taken. The third piece of best news ever is that our son has been breech the entire pregnancy, and the doc was getting worried that he might not turn. Lo and behold, at yesterdays appointment he finally turned!! I knew my son was smart enough to figure out which way to point! It just took him a little longer to figure it out. Hopefully he stays that way...

Update

I am STILL waiting for my Utah hygiene license!! How hard can this be?! I applied for it 3 months ago and still have not received it. They keep sending me letters saying my application is incomplete, and soon I will have to start the process all over again!! Why can't people do what I ask them to do? Not that I haven't enjoyed the time off, but this is getting ridiculous! I know, I know, if I was smart I would have done it right after graduation 2 YEARS AGO, but I figured why pay the yearly dues when I'm not going to be there for awhile? Terry took his Pharmacy board test last week, and he takes the State law exam this Saturday. It should take 2 weeks to find out the results.Hopefully he passes both and we can start making some real dinero! If not, ughhh, I don't even want to think about it. This picture pretty much sums up my mood today.

Baby Showers & Rodeos

My mother-in-law gave me my first baby shower on Wedenesday. Totally weird but lots of fun! It was also for my sister-in-law Tammy who had her baby a month ago. We got lots of the same outfits, so now our boys will be unofficial twins!

Last night was the Fiesta Days Rodeo in Spanish Fork. This is a time honered tradition in the Nelson family and always lots of fun. Thank you Grandpa for always getting the best seats in the house!

Happiness is Entertainment Weekly

I just got my latest issue of Entertainment Weekly and almost had a heart attack when I saw the cover. Twilight!! Edward and Bella!! Could anything in life be better? Okay, yes, but I LOVE this magazine and I LOVE Twilight, so what could be better? This magazine is huge as far as movies and music, so for Twilight to make the cover just shows how amazing these books are and how excited fans are for the movie. There are two great articles inside, one with Stephanie and one about the movie, and some smokin' hot pics of the cast!! I can't believe the new book comes out in 3 weeks!

In other news, Terry turned the big 30 on 7/11. I can't believe how old we are getting! He got some new dress shirts and ties for work, and new shoes with his b-day money. Happy Birthday T- Dog! I love you!
