Got it!

Apparently Deacon like to show off for his dad. As soon as terry got home from work, we put Deacon on the floor and he started rolling like crazy! And yes, I even got it on video. Enjoy!

Today Deacon rolled over from back to tummy! I was doing Pilates (yes I am attempting to lose weight) and Deacon was laying next to me on the floor. Apparently he wanted to be just like mom and was trying out some moves of his own, when he rolled right over! Definitely tougher for him than tummy to back, but I have no doubt he will be all over the place in no time. I have yet to catch it on video, so enjoy this post-bathtub pic.

Roll over, baby!

Deacon has finally rolled over! Okay, it was a week ago but he was really slow at it. The other day I put him on his tummy, and ta-da! He rolled right over! He did it about 4 more times that day, and now he loves it. This kid is growing way too fast!

I thought I should try it one more time, just in case it was beginners luck...

Okay, these are for Maria because she won't quit bugging me about posting them! I'm pretty sure no one else is interested. P.S- Deacon will be 5 months on the 22nd! Time is flying!

All tuckered out! I guess to much bouncing will do that to you. He slept like that for an hour!

Deacon's Big Day

Well we finally got around to blessing Deacon. Terry was pretty nervous to do it, so we kept putting it off. Sunday was the big day and it turned out great! We both have awesome families that made the long trek to Syracuse to see the little guy get blessed. Afterwards, we had lots of good grub at the house. Thanks to everyone that came and brought food! We had a great time!

So handsome in his little suit! Yes I am a bad mother and didn't get pictures of me, Terry and Deacon together! The day was to crazy. I'll have to "re-create" the day next Sunday.

4 months old!

My little stinker is 4 months old! I can't believe how fast time is going by. He weighs 17 pounds and loves sucking on his hands. He has also discovered his feet and his voice! Sometimes he is so loud he sounds like a squawking bird! Everyday he seems to change a little bit more. Deacon, I love you to pieces! You were worth the wait!
