Roll over, baby!

Deacon has finally rolled over! Okay, it was a week ago but he was really slow at it. The other day I put him on his tummy, and ta-da! He rolled right over! He did it about 4 more times that day, and now he loves it. This kid is growing way too fast!

I thought I should try it one more time, just in case it was beginners luck...

Just Because

Okay, these are for Maria because she won't quit bugging me about posting them! I'm pretty sure no one else is interested. P.S- Deacon will be 5 months on the 22nd! Time is flying!

All tuckered out! I guess to much bouncing will do that to you. He slept like that for an hour!

These next two videos were taken at my Dad's. I guess Deacon thought his Uncle Spencer was the funniest guy ever, but not Grandpa!

The Spitting Game

This is Deacon's favorite pastime. I'm hoping the spitting means he loves me, but who knows with this kid?

P.S- This is now an official mommy blog. I am sorry.

Deacon's Big Day

Well we finally got around to blessing Deacon. Terry was pretty nervous to do it, so we kept putting it off. Sunday was the big day and it turned out great! We both have awesome families that made the long trek to Syracuse to see the little guy get blessed. Afterwards, we had lots of good grub at the house. Thanks to everyone that came and brought food! We had a great time!

So handsome in his little suit! Yes I am a bad mother and didn't get pictures of me, Terry and Deacon together! The day was to crazy. I'll have to "re-create" the day next Sunday.

Grandpa Ross and Deacon

My Grandpa Carl, brother Spencer, & my Dad

My awesome Aunt Debbie!

Someone is glad the big day is over!

4 months old!

My little stinker is 4 months old! I can't believe how fast time is going by. He weighs 17 pounds and loves sucking on his hands. He has also discovered his feet and his voice! Sometimes he is so loud he sounds like a squawking bird! Everyday he seems to change a little bit more. Deacon, I love you to pieces! You were worth the wait!

Caught red-handed sucking his hands!

We Miss You!

Dear Aunt Maria,

I miss you very much! Today I went to lunch with mom and some relatives and I had a total meltdown. It is because I miss you so much and I worry about you being so far away. I am glad you are furthering your education but it will be a long year without you! Mom is freaking out about you being so far away, and she wonders how she will ever clean the house again without you here to babysit. Thanks for being a great aunt and always buying me stuff and babysitting me! Come home soon!

Love, Deacon

Family Pictures

Our first family pictures! This gal is amazing at photography - she even got Terry to smile! Ignore the spit bubbles on Deacon, I guess he was really excited to have his picture taken!
