Deacon's Big Day

Well we finally got around to blessing Deacon. Terry was pretty nervous to do it, so we kept putting it off. Sunday was the big day and it turned out great! We both have awesome families that made the long trek to Syracuse to see the little guy get blessed. Afterwards, we had lots of good grub at the house. Thanks to everyone that came and brought food! We had a great time!

So handsome in his little suit! Yes I am a bad mother and didn't get pictures of me, Terry and Deacon together! The day was to crazy. I'll have to "re-create" the day next Sunday.

4 months old!

My little stinker is 4 months old! I can't believe how fast time is going by. He weighs 17 pounds and loves sucking on his hands. He has also discovered his feet and his voice! Sometimes he is so loud he sounds like a squawking bird! Everyday he seems to change a little bit more. Deacon, I love you to pieces! You were worth the wait!

We Miss You!

Dear Aunt Maria,

I miss you very much! Today I went to lunch with mom and some relatives and I had a total meltdown. It is because I miss you so much and I worry about you being so far away. I am glad you are furthering your education but it will be a long year without you! Mom is freaking out about you being so far away, and she wonders how she will ever clean the house again without you here to babysit. Thanks for being a great aunt and always buying me stuff and babysitting me! Come home soon!

What's So Funny?

I was getting Deacon dressed and I accidentally hit the doorstop. It made that funny sound which Deacon must have thought was pretty funny, because he started laughing so hard! I grabbed the camera and recorded this:

Deacon's First Christmas!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! I know we did. Deacon made sure of that! Christmas Eve was crazy! Terry got stuck in a major accident on I-15 and almost missed Santa, my car got stuck in the snow in my dad's driveway and had to be towed out, and we hit a major snowstorm on the way home. Luckily we made it home safely so we could enjoy Christmas day. Santa brought me a new laptop (yay!) which I am breaking in right now, and Terry got a snowblower. Deacon got a crazy bouncer which he won't be able to use for a month or so, but I bet he's excited!
