This post is about 7 months late, but oh well! I’m getting nostalgic now that Evan is so close to being here. Maria gave me this cute “bear chair” for one of my showers, so I decided to take Deacon’s picture by it every month to mark his growth. Some months were harder than others to get the little guy to hold still, but I think it was worth it!

What a cute idea. Isn't it crazy how fast they grow? I still can't believe that my baby is almost one. Where has the time gone?

I love it!! He is such a cutie (and a chunker!) I can't wait to meet Evan. My prediction: dark hair and a shy personality like us when we were little. Deacon will be the super-outgoing big brother who takes care of his little bro.
These are so cute, and I can only imagine this is a sort of weird time. You don't "have" Evan yet so he is sort of abstract, and you can see and feel all the love for Deacon, I imagine thinking of this dynamic changing is so bizarre. Luckily I hear you heart just opens bigger and bigger for each one, not taking any from another just adding!
