Saw this on the Today show this morning. It's called the tummy tub and is designed to simulate the womb. It was only sold in Europe but now some lady sells it in the States. All the kids they had in it were loving it (how cute was the girl on the end?). I can hardly justify spending $45 dollars on a glorified bucket, though. Maybe if things still don't improve...

Oh my gosh! I totally just sent you the link to that on Facebook! Freaky...You should try it.
Wow! I actually watched the video and I want one. And I don't even have chilluns. Just get a bucket from Walmart. $45 seems like a lot.
hmmm 45 bucks seems a little pricey...that is pretty cool though! can't you just get any ol' bucket??
LOL okay, uhhh no offense but that looks like a friggin torture bucket in the picture! I'm sure it really is as cool as they say, but that lady looks like she's abusing her kid.
Oh and I agree, you can buy a 5 gallon bucket at home depot for like 5 bucks hahaha...poor Deacon...
Addie would flip, cause she hates being confined. Maybe since he's younger he'll be down with it :)
He is so cute and getting so big! I love your new hair. I have a few friends here who really love these. I have seen them on Craigslist here for much cheaper, maybe you can find one on Ksl or something?
When bathing babies at work, we keep them swaddled, it's supposed to have the same affect (womb like). You can always try that, it would defenently be cheaper. He may be too big though, does he even like being swaddled still? Good Luck!
For some reason I really don't think my kids would have been fooled. Maybe the bucket isn't slimy enough?
Either way, I don't think even one of Deacon's thighs could fit in the bucket at this point! Ha ha.
interesting..i think i'll just buy a $2 bucket at walmart and see if it really works...
I dont have any mommy advice, but maybe you could get in the bath with him a few times to get him used to it???
Hey Melissa! I was talking with Maria on facebook yesterday and she gave me your blog address. I love blogging and find it's the best way for me to keep in touch with everyone so I hope you don't mind. Anyway that bucket thing looks really weird. I agree that it looks like a glorified bucket. Wish I had some tips for you bathing Deacon. Have you tried a bubble bath? My kids love popping bubbles so they love bubble baths. Thats the only things I can think of right now. Your little boy is so cute and getting so big. I can't believe he's 7 months old! Time flys doesn't it?
