So blessed

Our 4th of July weekend was jam packed with activities! My brother got married (okay, it was in June, but close enough).

Then we had the annual Rees family pool party. Luckily Deacon still loves the pool (he managed to jump in while I wasn’t looking – SCARY!)

Our new nephew Nixon! He’s 6 weeks younger than E but almost bigger than him!

Then we blessed Evan.  He wore the same suit as Deacon (precious!).  We also continued our tradition of NOT getting a family picture on blessing day!

Last but not least… 

Deacon’s new favorite thing is to “sleep” in my bed when E is in there.  How can I say no that cutie?

What a zoo!

It was perfect weather, and Terry finally had a day off, so we packed up the two monsters and headed to the zoo! It was definitely way better than I remember, and most of the animals were out and about.

Terry HAD to have a wagon for Deacon (so much for the double stroller!)

Only one mishap the entire day: I spilled my grape sno-cone all over my purse and Evan’s blankie! If you’re keeping score, that’s two blankets ruined in three days (gusty winds blew one off at the mall parking lot, then a car ran it over). But hey, at least I wasn’t wearing these shoes (or the pants):

Warm summer weather means lots of lawn mowing (we’re training him early)

Lots of playing at the splash pad and park too, but I’m a ding-dong and forgot the camera.

Warm weather = 2 happy kids and one happy mom!

2 months old

Evan turned two months old on the 9th! He is such a sweetie and we love him. He weighs 11.7 pounds and is 22 inches long. Pretty sure he is going to be my tiny little guy compared to Deacon!

He’s a pretty mellow kid so far, but when he does cry it’s pretty cute (see for yourself, and I apologize for Deacon’s ear-splitting scream)

Farm day!

I made the long drive to Tremonton to let the boys see some farm animals (ok, Terry’s stepdad had to buy a pig and invited me along, but you get the idea!) This place had some serious farm equipment and really cute animals!
